Yep, another hat.

This one's for my youngest dd, she picked out the yarn for a hat a couple weeks ago. She loved the color (Caron's simply soft in Lilac), because it matches her coat. It's a simple k1p1 rib, with a crocheted brim. It was fun to make, but the yarn was very slippery on my nickel plated dpns! The kids were treated to several choice curse words when I was nearing the end of the decreases. My needles kept falling out! I was trying to knit in the car on our Christmas vacation, and I couldn't control the needles, the pattern, and the yarn, while getting in and out and driving all over. But, alas, it's a job well done.
