Earflap hat

ok, I made another hat. This time, I made the Earflap hat from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller. I can't remember the name of the designer, but I made it a little differently than the book. In the pattern, there are two rows of shells that add to the design, but my daughter didn't want "holes" so I just did the double crochet all the way. The earflaps just need buttons to hold them up. Also, the pattern calls for several different colors that make stripes. I just used one variegated yarn, so it still is colorful, but is not striped. It turned out really cute!
