Thankful Thursday...missed the tornadoes

Don't get me wrong. I live in Nebraska, and we've seen our share of tornadoes. But this one was a monster, and I am very thankful it wasn't in our part of the country.

But my heart goes out to the hundreds of thousands of people without power today and without homes in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi, and my prayers are with you and all of the workers trying to get their emergency vehicles and services into areas where the roads are impassable.
See some video from ABC news here...
It's a terrible situation for them all.

What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful that all we've had here is a little rain and a little wind, so far. There are "weather" warnings—and we certainly *are* getting weather we don't usually get here in the Northeast lately—but it's not too bad yet.

I hear you, Meghann. We have had lots of rain and wind, but nothing too scary so far.
