Lily's Field and some other goodies...

This is some yarn I dyed up for a friend's new baby, Lily:

It was fun coming up with the colors, and I hope she likes her little tribute!

And a sampling of a few cards I made using up some paper and stickers. For sale on Etsy today...

I love to dye wool, when I get results like this!

"Fall Driving" on Lion wool. These colors remind me of the treelined street I drive on almost every day on my way to anywhere. In the Fall, the purples, golds, oranges, reds, they are so amazing.


"Purple Mountain's Majesty" on Lion wool, reminds me of far off mountains.

Khloe's Birthday surprise -- a day early

I wanted to make K a doll for her one year birthday, and I didn't get it 100% done the way I want (new hair, and eyes, for one!) but I think she likes it!

Khloe's first fall longies, 2009 -- And an OOPS!

Love them! They go with everything, too!

I used my Gillyweeds Pattern in Half Double crochet, and they are a *little* too long, but they will last all winter...


And a little OOPS! that turned out pretty good! I had gotten some Peace Fleece in a coop, and was planning to dye it in blues and browns, with the cream poking through. But the blue was BLUE and the brown was kind of rusty, and not dusty like I wanted, so I over dyed it with red. Wow! What a difference! I am very pleased with how it ended up.
